What you get

What's in the Service History PDF

1 Every recorded service event Each visit logged in the manufacturer's digital service system, in date order — from the first service to the most recent.
2 Date and mileage at each visit A mileage trail across the car's life — the quickest way to spot a discrepancy or verify a mileage claim.
3 Work carried out The scope of each service as recorded by the servicing dealer or workshop — scheduled services, oil changes, brake fluid and more, where the manufacturer records it.

Example — from a real record

03/2026 Service B · brake fluid change 41,208 mi
02/2025 Service A · cabin filter renewed 29,764 mi
01/2024 Service B · spark plugs renewed 17,892 mi
12/2022 Service A · first scheduled service 8,431 mi

Entries use the manufacturer's own service terminology. Detail varies by make and servicing workshop.

Why it matters

Stamped books are easy to fake. Digital records aren't.

Verify "full service history"

A seller's claim checked against the manufacturer's own system — gaps and missed services show up immediately.

Cross-check the mileage

Mileage recorded at every visit builds a trail that's hard to argue with — and hard to clock against.

Recover a lost history

Service book missing? If the work was logged digitally, the record survives — even when the paperwork doesn't.

Support your asking price

A documented history is worth real money at sale time — show buyers proof instead of promises.

Frequently asked

Service history FAQs

Where does the service data come from?

Directly from the manufacturer's digital service system — the same records a franchised dealer sees, keyed to your VIN. It can't be edited by a seller.

Will independent garage services show up?

Only if the garage logged the work in the manufacturer's system. Franchised dealer work is recorded as standard; many quality independents also update digital records — but not all do.

What if there are no records for my vehicle?

The free preview confirms availability before checkout — you're never charged for the add-on if no digital service records exist for your VIN.

Which vehicles are eligible?

UK and European market vehicles from the 13 supported makes. Digital service systems were phased in by manufacturer, so coverage is strongest for cars from roughly the mid-2010s onwards.

Can I buy it without a build sheet?

The Service History PDF is an add-on to a build sheet order — together they give the full picture: what the car was built with, and how it's been looked after.

Is it a mileage or history check?

No — it's the manufacturer's service record, not a finance, theft or write-off check. Use it alongside a standard history check when buying.
