What you get
Example — from a real report
Descriptions use Buick's factory terminology. A typical report lists 60–150 codes.
Use cases
Buying a used Buick
Verify the spec in the advert against the factory record — original paint, factory options, and whether the advertised package is genuine.
Selling with confidence
A documented factory spec supports your asking price — desirable factory options are worth showing, not claiming.
Restoration & parts
Order the right parts first time and return a project car to its exact original specification, down to the trim code.
Insurance & valuation
Agreed-value policies and specialist valuations often ask for proof of factory options — the build sheet is that proof.
Frequently asked
Which Buick models are covered?
Factory build data is available for Enclave, Encore, Envision and LaCrosse, among others. Coverage varies by model year and delivery market — the free preview confirms availability for your exact VIN before you pay.
Does it cover US-market and imported Buicks?
Yes — lookups are keyed to the 17-character VIN, so imports work even without a UK registration. Enter the VIN directly and the free preview confirms coverage for your exact vehicle before you pay.
What are RPO codes?
Regular Production Option (RPO) codes are General Motors’ factory option identifiers. Your build sheet lists every RPO recorded against your VIN with its factory description.
Do I need the VIN, or will the UK reg work?
Either works. For UK-registered cars the reg is enough — we resolve the VIN automatically. For imports or unregistered vehicles, use the 17-character VIN.
Is service history available for Buick?
Not currently — the Service History add-on covers selected manufacturers only. For Buick, the Factory Specification PDF is available on its own. See pricing for details.
Where does the data come from?
Directly from official manufacturer build records, keyed to your VIN — the same data a franchised Buick dealer sees. It can't be edited by a seller and doesn't rely on paperwork surviving.
